TICKLING OR ROUGH HOUSING

It is wonderful fun to rough house, tickle and play with a child. It is important that the child or the parent is able, for whatever reason, to give the TIME OUT hand signal and that the signal is immediately honored.  The activity stops.  Sometimes a child gets too wound up, giggles so hard he or she can’t breathe, or the activity gets otherwise out of hand; the ability to call off the game brings safety to that arena.
